Excellent work Dr. Hudson. Neither K town social club nor Matt Kim have had on any palestinian supporters on their shows. I have had Palestinian supporters on the streets and done a lot of activity to support them, but the truth is that the anti-war movement of the US is controlled by millionaires that silo off our communities and work to contain us. So no Palestinian supporters have ever come on my program for a sit down interview or to strategize in any way. Korea has a natural relationship with Palestine and I applaud your pioneering work in having a Palestinian on the program to discuss the issue. As much as I agree with most of what’s said here I don’t see how Belarus supporting “traditional families” makes it socialist. I didn’t see anything about “traditional families” in Marx or Lenin. If anything Engels work The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State says much to the opposite effect. I don’t think socialist countries should necessarily be in the business of promoting homosexuality but neither is there a basis in Scientific Socialism for enforcing “traditional families.” That might be what some socialist states have done in practice but it’s not born out by a justification in dialectical materialism. If anything “traditionalism” has long been a fascist buzzword. We aren’t the ones who want to return to some imagined great past that never was. Sometimes it seems that people think having a knee jerk reaction to say whatever the opposite of what liberals say is the true socialist position, when that’s not actually born out by actually reading Marx and Engels or Lenin. When you remove private property from relationships and provide the material basis for a decent life there is no need to enforce or regulate people’s relationships, the exploitative and perverse incentives of capitalism will wither away regardless of how “traditional” or not a society is.
